We Heart Stella at Liberty

Liberty have delivered a lovely set of windows for London Fashion Week. Mannequins and objects spell out 'We &hearts Stella' - and check out that horse shaped wig! Elsewhere mannequins cavort amongst a beautiful muticoloured jungle with distressed silk leaves, and a pair of busts stand in a window papered with pages torn from magazines and lookbooks. Finally, they give a window over to the Oh! You Pretty Things exhibition at Spring Projects, a showcase of new fashion photography, with printed ink drawings of the photographs covering piles of blocks. Beautiful and seamless.

Boo Saville's TOTEM at Trolley Gallery

We like these HR Giger-esque paintings by Boo Saville on show at Trolley Gallery until March 13. Also on show some striking brightly coloured works depicting fetishes and shrunken heads. Well worth a look. Nice gallery the Trolley. They're a publisher as well, selling books via their site including the Gentlemen of Bacongo which inspired Paul Smith this Spring.

Museum Of Small Things

We like the current exhibition in the Selfridges Ultralounge, in collaboration with Pocko and Kit Grover, called the Museum Of Small Things. In MOST, Pocko have curated an impressive body of work in a surprisingly intimate setting, celebrating the small and subtle things that mostly pass us by.

Finally I have to mention The School of Life Sermon program, kind of a lecture series on a topic by an authority on that topic - for instance Gluttony spoken about by a chef - with music and tea and cake in the beautiful Conway Hall in Holborn. Tickets £12.50. This School of Life do all sorts though. And apparently not as culty as it sounds.

THE HALF SISTERS

We like Brighton based band The Half sisters. Spotted by team Concept at Secret Garden Party, this folksy trio play the ukulele and dress like psychedelic woodland nymphs. A sample lyric from one of their lush melodies goes a little something like this "When we die our skeletons will dance together.......". Whats not to love?
